We're a family of farmers

Mendon Acres is happy to welcome you to our operation.   We look forward to providing you with exceptional fruit and produce while also providing you with a working farm experience.

We believe in low-spray, socially responsible, ecologically sound and economically viable growing practices.

Meet Farmer Doug

Farmer Doug grew up on a dairy farm outside of Ithaca, New York. Farming is in his blood! He earned a degree in Horticulture at SUNY Morrisville and a B.S. in Business Administration from Cornell University. It was at Cornell where he learned about greenhouse management by preparing plant material for experiments.

After many years in banking, Farmer Doug wanted to get back to his roots, literally! Mendon Acres opened in 2017.  It was raw land before that and Farmer Doug started from the ground up!

Farmer Doug’s wife, Anne and their two daughters, Madeline and Samantha work on the farm part-time. Farmer Doug’s brothers, Tom, Jeff and Steve Osovski and sister in-law, Brenda Osovski also help out regularly on the farm.

Mendon Acres truly is a family farm!
